Shipping & Handling Terms & Conditions
Parcel orders submitted prior to 2:30pm CST on normal business days (with the exception of Freund holidays, annual physical inventory, inclement weather or extreme volume) will ship same day. LTL orders will ship within 24-48 hours.

Most orders ship via FedEx Ground “freight prepaid” with shipping & handling added to the invoice, unless requested otherwise. Rates for LTL shipments may not include additional fees such as residential delivery, lift gate, or to be contacted for a delivery appointment. These fees are the responsibility of the customer and may be invoiced in addition to rates already provided. If any of these special services are required, they should be noted within the online special instructions section prior to placing the order. Delivery requiring a signature is furnished upon request only.

Collect shipments are accepted provided the customer gives the appropriate carrier information & shipping instructions.
If at any point Freund Container receives a chargeback from a shipping carrier resulting from an invalid collect account, incomplete freight instructions, or an undeliverable shipment due to an invalid address, the customer is responsible for all shipping charges associated with that order along with an additional $25 fee.
Upon request, shipments may be expedited via a parcel carrier. Cutoff time for this request is 2:00pm, CST. We will make every effort to notify the customer of the expedited charges prior to shipping. If for some reason the customer is not available for response, we will still honor the initial request for expedited delivery and the customer will be responsible for the appropriate expedited charges.

Claims for missing items or damaged merchandise in transit should be made immediately upon receipt with Freund Container on "freight prepaid" shipments by calling 800.363.9822. "Freight collect" shipments are to be made with the customer’s chosen carrier for that shipment. Notification delays may result in longer resolution time.

We can accommodate shipments outside of the US, but there is a minimum merchandise order of $200. Since we only have one distribution center located in Central Illinois, shipping costs tend to be expensive on international orders. Please visit our international article for sample freight charges. The buyer is responsible for all taxes, duties, tariffs and customs laws in destination country.

Expedited Delivery
Upon request, we can expedite your shipment using FedEx or UPS. Cutoff time for this request is 2:00 PM, CST. Depending on your order shipping weight, expedited shipment fees tend to be more costly than many customers realize. Therefore, we will make every effort to notify you with the amount of the expedited charges before shipment. However, if for some reason you are not available for response, we will still honor your initial request for expedited delivery and you are responsible for the appropriate expedited charges.

Drop/Blind Shipments

Pick-Up Orders
With 24-hour advance notice, orders can be picked up at our Streator, Illinois Distribution Center or Sparks, Nevada Distribution Center. These facilities cannot accept cash, please make payment arrangements in advance.
